Advantages: Sheer joy both on film and DVD! Disadvantages: None whatsoever
...After watching Chicken Run at £1 per view at my Students Union film showing, I told myself, Wow! I'm gonna get the DVD!
And frankly, I'm not disappointed at all once I got hold of one. Here what I've to say about Chicken Run:
THE FILM
~~~~~~~~
The movie is a brilliant animated movie created by exceptional Claymation techniques in filmmaking.(the best there is!) The enthusiastic story line brings to life the Claymation characters, giving each of the chickens a role that is unforgettably witty and humorous.
The story begins in a small British chicken farm, run by the Tweedys. It's a run down farm with a prison-like atmosphere (at least for the chickens!). The chicken coops are kept within barbed wires and always under the watchful eye of the farmer and guard dog. The heroine in this movie is a courageous hen by the name of Ginger...
Advantages: great film well made characters.very funny Disadvantages: None
...very good animation. Nick park is great. this film is funny but also has some sad parts. a very well made good family film. no bad language and has a very good story line that is carried out throughout the whole film and does not stray from the story. the characters were good and some were funny looking but overall very well presented. it is very good value for money. it compares well to wallace and gromit but nothing can beat wllace and gromit but this is quite close. if you want a good family film then this is the film to choose.
it consists of chickens who live on a chicken farm run by Mr. Tweedy and his wife Mrs. Tweedy. Mrs Tweedy decides to change the chicken farm into a chicken pie factory and the main characters ginger and rocky decide they have to escape from the farm and make a life of theirown with all their friends...
Advantages: Brilliant animation, funny, great family entertainment and basically everything else about the film. Disadvantages: Absolutely None.
...;s.
I loved every single minute of this, right down to the brilliant sound effects, which really add to the films quality.
The voice cast are perfect in every sense, and bring the charaters to live with the maximum amount of believability.
The music was not too dissimilar from ‘The Great Escape’ either and the composers (John Powell and Harry Gregson Williams) have come up with the perfect music for the different scenes.
This is one of those films I could honestly watch over and over again, as the humor is fitting for both adults and children alike.
I would recommend Chicken Run to everybody with an inner child, as it is quite simply great entertainment.
Chicken Run is available on VHS Video and DVD, certificate U, from most high street retailers.
Or you can visit ‘www.amazon.co.uk’ who are currently...
