Advantages: Advanced positions, lovely scenery Disadvantages: A bit boring
...I bought this DVD because it was on a "bargain bin" offer from Amazon and to be honest, I can understand why. It is a highly advanced DVD and should not be attempted by anybody who cannot wrap their legs around their head. Being Ashtanga yoga, the sequences are reasonably fast-paced, although not as fast as other DVDs I have used.
It's obvious that these two are incredible yoga masters, and they take it in turns to narrate the positions to a backdrop of an Ibizan beach and soothing music. The DVD is divided up into segments: warm-up and the Sun Salutations, standing poses, and sitting poses. After the Sun Salutations, I tend to give up, and I've been doing yoga for several years.
I doubt there are many people on this planet who can perform some of the eye-popping balancing acts as featured in the DVD, and those that can surely won't need...

Advantages: You Really do lose wieght Disadvantages: Outgrow it quickly

She'll give you a very brief spiel on the benefits yoga has for the body, mind, and soul.
Now I am somewhat...

Advantages: Good for health Disadvantages: Possibility of injury

Last year, I was unable to do many of the postures. Through regular practice, I can now achieve all of the poses. After practising yoga about 2 or 3 times a week, I soon began to feel the difference. Never force your body to do anything in yoga, if it hurts then stop. If you don’t listen to your body you will cause yourself serious injuries.
Yoga can be practised everyday. If you do...
