Advantages: Keeps the children amused, helps teach morals. Educational. Disadvantages: None
...Pingu is a small penguin that lives on the Icecap. He lives in an igloo with his mum, his postman dad and baby sister Pinga. His grandpa lives in an igloo nearby. Pingu loves to play; he loves to ski, sledge, play fish tennis and most of all play in the snow. He loves to learn about the world around him both alone and with his friends Seal, Pongi, Pingo and Pingg.
Pingu has been around for some time but I think the more recent episodes are much better. The story appeal highly to children due to the scrapes that Pingu and his friends get into but also for the added addition of the occasional burp and other bodily noises either in the bath or whilst on the toilet. However what children probably don't realise is that most of the stories have a hidden moral in them, and this DVD is no exception.
Pingu does not speak English, however...

Advantages: More difficult dance moves which is good, more sections Disadvantages: Steps could be too complicated for anyone just looking for a simple workout

Advantages: effective high energy workout, easy to follow Disadvantages: not for total beginners
...wearing the same clothes!). We are never introduced to the rest of the class, but they are all (Deanne included) absolutely gorgeous and obviously extremely fit. There are five other girls and also a guy, which I think is good, as men rarely feature in these sort of workouts.
~Heat~
Heat is the warm-up section of the DVD and lasts around 10 minutes. On first doing this section of the DVD, I was quite surprised at how easy the exercises were, as I was expecting something with a little more intensity - that does come later on though, so don't be fooled!
The workout is promoted as 'the ultimate dance workout', and we do see some dance moves, but from this warm-up section you should mostly expect aerobic moves. It combines quite basic steps, that (from my experience) you would come across in most other exercise DVD's available. To give you...
