Advantages: has a story, actors tried to act as best they could, some funny moments

...watch this film, the first dumb and dumber was a right laugh so i thought this would be the same. It starts when Harry and Lloyd meet when they are going to the same high school ( Lloyd`s dad is the janitor of the school so he has access to the whole school). The principal is a crook and reckons if he can set up a special needs class he will be able to get a grant and then he will have enough money to run off with his girlfriend (the dinner lady) ...

...let-down. The first film, Dumb and Dumber, was a childish, hilarious masterpiece. Dumb and Dumberer just doesn't live up to expectations. I went to see the film on the basis that the trailer looked funny as hell. It was a nice bit of editing. What I saw is exactly what I got and nothing more. The content of the film has the same amount of substance as the 1 minute trailer. The subtitle of this prequel,'When Harry met Lloyd', does indicate the forming ...
...is nowhere to be seen. It is all based on the gags which are few and far between: I recall laughing about five times through its whole duration of it. A hilarious film with spectacular music by Eban Schletter including the great hit eye of the tiger along with some crazy dancing. ...you are a fan of Dumb and Dumber, you might want to watch it but it is not worth your time and money. If you are looking for a comedy to watch, please consider other better ones like Scary Movie, Sister Act and Spy Hard. As a conclusion, this movie is rubbish and a waste of time. ...One of the funniest films. This is a great dvd. Its funny, has a good story line and is suitable for most families. This unrated version of the film has over 6 extra minutes added to the film, also deleted scenes, alternate endings,interviews with the stars, and trailers of when the film first came out. The film is about two friends who take a trip to Aspen to return a briefcase to a lady who left it at an airport. Along the way they run into trouble. Lloyd is in love with the lady, but soon harry falls for her as well. It is a great light hearted film, and portrays two best friends going on an adventure. With two thugs after them for the briefcase their friendship is tested. It really is a fun film for all to watch.... Read review

...Kingpin is to state the obvious a very funny film from the creators of Dumb and Dumber and There's something about Mary, This outrageously funny comedy about a former bowling champion played by Woody Harrelson who becomes caught up in a sleazy world of hustling, will have you splitting your sides with laughter. Also starring Bill Murray as a bowling conman out to take his newly discovered protege (Randy Quaid) to the top of the profession. Embarking on a bowling tour and with their sites set on the grand prize,a bowling tournament in Nevada, the film becomes a barrell of laughs from start to finish. On route they manage to pick up a gorgeous female, Claudia, played by Vanessa Angel (she's enough to make you want to watch the filmalone). Advantages: A lot of laughs

...character and it is Harry who is the more likeable by the end of the movie. This is despite Lloyd being the primary character in that he is on screen for a lot longer. Probably the film I would compare this to most is "There's Something About Mary". I suppose this is because they are both Farrelly Brothers' movies and have the same feel about them but I have found them both to be hugely enjoyable. If I had to choose I would probably say TSAM is a better film but it is a close call. Dumb & Dumber is available in most shops in the budget DVD and video sections and for the reduced price I would say it is an essential purchase if you like this kind of humour. Although if you prefer your humour a bit more sophisticated then give this a wide berth. That is perhaps the best thing about the movie, from the name and the packaging you know exactly...
