Advantages: THE A-TEAM

From the likes of the late George Peppard as Hannibal Smith to Mr T as B.A Baracus, The A team worked extremely well and still over 20 years on is yet to be beaten for the sheer testosterone pulsating action on a late Saturday afternoon. Watching this A-team Season 2 Box-set (which is on 6 DVD's, a staggering 17hrs 38mins running time) was a nostalgic trip back to the past where Col Hannibal Smith (Gerorge Peppard) and his team mates (B.A,Face,Murdock) Soldiers of Fortune are highly skilled military vigilantes that are hired by victims of injustice but at the same time are being heavily pursued by Col Decker who only wants them back behind bars for the crime they did not commit. Advantages: Funny and loads of car chases

..., Daisy Duke (Jessica Simpson) to uncover what dark deeds Boss Hogg is up to, whilst returning the family farm back to its rightful owners. On top of this, there is the small matter of the Hazzard county race which Bo is desperate to win. Opinion ********* I always approach films which attempt to remake classic TV series from years gone past with extreme caution, some succeed like "Starsky and Hutch", whilst others fail abysmally like "Lost in Space". With "The Dukes of Hazzard" it finds a middle ground, as a remake of a great TV series it is pretty poor, but as a film which takes the setting and characters of the original series and transports it forward in time it succeeds. Part of the reason for it succeeding is that it actually pokes fun at the original series, especially some of its more non PC elements and does not try to imitate... Read review
