It transpires that Ray is on a deep undercover assignment and he has been replaced by Detective Stanley Kowalski, who has taken on his role at both work and home to ensure that Ray's cover isn't blown. Fans of DueSouth have had to wait a very long time for the series to be available on DVD, but this is a box set worth waiting for. It contains every single episode from the three seasons of the show.
In season one we meet Benton Frasier, a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and a stickler for the rules and appropriate behaviour. Absolutely gorgeous, but apparently unaware of the effect he has on women, Frasier moves to Chicago (with trusty wolf Diefenbaker) to find his father's killer, then stays on to help Chicago cop Ray solve his cases. Towards the end of season one we discover that Frasier does understand the meaning of love, and his willing to give his life for it.
In season two Ray and Frasier are on the trail of criminals again, and there's hilarious guest appearances from Leslie Nielsen as a long-serving Mountie ...
Advantages: Best comedy ever!!!! Disadvantages: Not many extras, but hey, what more could you possibly want
THE best comedy series ever created is my honest opinion. There are very few actual laugh out loud comedy programmes however all seven series of this fabulous box set are incredibly funny. The family consists of Delboy (the ultimate cockney geezer), his brother Rodney (the ultimate dipstick), and either grandad in earlier series or uncle Albert in later series, and of course their friends including Trigger and Boycie. As far as british comedy goes, I would go as far as saying this is unbeatable, from the moment you begin watching you will fall in love with the loveable rogues and follow their journey through the years as they try absolutely every scam in the book to make a fast buck. You could also watch these episodes over and over again which suggests how good this is. The box set is a must have for any fan out there. ...
I watched this when it was first on TV but since then have bought the books all three series.
I have watched this book in full now and I can honestly say I have enjoyed every minute of it as I did the first time I saw it.
The story is based around the North and the South and two friends who meet at West Point (army). Orry Main - Patrick Swayze and George Hazzard (James Read.)
Over the years they become very close friends, but unfortunately George does not agree with slavery which, and Orry's family have slaves. George's sister Vergina is totally against it, and unfortunately it tears a wedge between them, although he doesn't agree with what Orry's family does, he has a lot of feelings for Orry and finds it very difficult to keep away after they have fallen out.
