DVD Description
The Canadian television series DUE SOUTH is a police action-comedy revolving around Canadian Mountie Benton Frasier (Paul Gross) and his partner, Detective Stanley Raymond Kowalski (Callum Keith Rennie). Exported to the streets of Chicago from up north to fight crime, the two - armed only with a deaf, lip-reading K-9 and their traditional moral code - encounter endless humour.
Advantages: All of the fabulous episodes in one set Disadvantages: Lots of money to shell out in one go
...Fans of DueSouth have had to wait a very long time for the series to be available on DVD, but this is a boxset worth waiting for. It contains every single episode from the three seasons of the show.
In season one we meet Benton Frasier, a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and a stickler for the rules and appropriate behaviour. Advantages: No compromise, hilarious, cartman, refreshingly non-pc Disadvantages: depends on your standpoint..bad language, politically incorrect, dubious subject matter, childish
..., this is not a series for you. It has to be said at this point that series 2 is actually less controversial (even) than topics covered in other South Park dvds and storylines.
THE PACKAGE
''
South Park series 2 consists of 4 dvds in a neat boxset, labelled volume 4, 5, 6 and 7 (following on from the volumes in the dvd package for the first series). For those that appreciate it, the set is in the same design and package as the preceding series and the following three. It is very well put together, with the feel of a quality product despite the garish colours and whatever your opinion of the actual series happens to be. By this I mean that the box is sturdy with all the episodes, plus an accompanying synopsis, listed clearly by volume.
The whole of the series is here (6 hours, 36 minutes) - consisting of 18...
