Due South - the complete series
Review of Due South: The Complete Series Boxset (Box Set) by  ciaofluffymuppet

Advantages: All of the fabulous episodes in one set
Disadvantages: Lots of money to shell out in one go

...Fans of Due South have had to wait a very long time for the series to be available on DVD, but this is a box set worth waiting for. It contains every single episode from the three seasons of the show. In season one we meet Benton Frasier, a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and a stickler for the rules and appropriate behaviour. Absolutely gorgeous, but apparently unaware of the effect he has on women, Frasier moves to Chicago (with trusty wolf Diefenbaker) to find his father's killer, then stays on to help Chicago cop Ray solve his cases. Towards the end of season one we discover that Frasier does understand the meaning of love, and his willing to give his life for it. In season two Ray and Frasier are on the trail of criminals again, and there's hilarious guest appearances from Leslie Nielsen as a long-serving Mountie... Read review

South Park - Series 2
Review of South Park - Series 2 (Box Set) by  dc1971

Advantages: No compromise, hilarious, cartman, refreshingly non-pc
Disadvantages: depends on your standpoint..bad language, politically incorrect, dubious subject matter, childish

..., this is not a series for you. It has to be said at this point that series 2 is actually less controversial (even) than topics covered in other South Park dvds and storylines. THE PACKAGE '' South Park series 2 consists of 4 dvds in a neat box set, labelled volume 4, 5, 6 and 7 (following on from the volumes in the dvd package for the first series). For those that appreciate it, the set is in the same design and package as the preceding series and the following three. It is very well put together, with the feel of a quality product despite the garish colours and whatever your opinion of the actual series happens to be. By this I mean that the box is sturdy with all the episodes, plus an accompanying synopsis, listed clearly by volume. The whole of the series is here (6 hours, 36 minutes) - consisting of 18...
