Advantages: Quite funny, a feel-good comedy for the kids
Disadvantages: No great performances, predictable plot

...When three kids who have just started high school find themselves being harassed by bullies, they hire a bodyguard to help them. After interviewing a series of unsuitable candidates, they come across the perfect man for the job, Drillbit Taylor (Owen Wilson). Drillbit is mean, tough, and best of all, charges a very acceptable amount of money for the job. However, the kids don't know that Drillbit is actually a homeless delinquent who, through the pressure of fellow homeless people, is planning to rob one of the kids houses to pawn the possessions. By Owen Wilson's high standards, this is a very average film. He acts well but not spectacularly in a different role to his normal spiritual, soft character he plays in many films. He doesn't look as natural or comfortable in this film as he did in such films in his earlier career... Read review
