I remember watching dreamscape when I was in my teens on Betamax, and loved it. I am not a horror film fan and at first glance this may seem like a horror movie, but it isn't really.
For me, this is the film that Dennis Quaid made his name and although I was too young back then to really appreciate that, when I was older and saw him in other films, I would think "hey, its that guy from Dreamscape"
Its those first impressions I feel that can make ... ...is also associated with the Dreamscape project, it is only inevitable that the President is brought to the facility to help.
Dennis Quaid plays a young psychic (Alex Gardner) who uses his talents mainly to earn a living from his gambling winnings (he is psychic remember).
