Advantages: Great twist to the franchise. Disadvantages: Perhaps a little too dull??
...The franchise is now really rolling as the burnt out stalker takes on new adversaries on the supposedly "Last of the Elm Street kids". This movie did quite well at the box office and was also a welcome relief from the poor effort that was nightmare 2. In this film Langenkamp returns to help the kids with dream therapy as they battle against the man of their dreams. A great story line here, and it shows. An excellent movie that keeps Freddy fans begging for more, it also has deep roots here with the past as we see the return of Nancys mum, John Saxon. Then ending was also well thought out and this movie also had Wes Craven as the executive producer which no doubt helped. Nightmare fans may regard this as one of the best and is alsoa must for horror fans....

Advantages: Better story & effects Disadvantages: none
...A Nightmare On Elm Street 3: The DreamWarriors. Now this is much better, had the series of continued on the tracks left by Freddy's Revenge, I'm not sure that the series would have gone on. Here Freddy develops a personality, moreso than some of the kids that he pick off! This is where humour was introduced - I don't think Freddy's Revenge was supposed to be funny, it was one of those so bad you have to laugh moments! In this films the special effects are stunning, with Freddy calculating each characters death in a more ironic way. There's no need to just slash them now, that would be too easy, Freddy like to play with his victims! First up is a young lad with a collection of string puppets, so what does Freddy do? Well he pulls out the kids veins and uses these as strings to walk him out of a window to his death, making it look like...

Advantages: Better sequel than the 2nd Disadvantages: Not as good as the original
...Story:
Picking up where the original Nightmare left off, Nancy has grown up and become a psychiatrist specializing in dream therapy. She meets a group of children at a local hospital facing Freddy Krueger, the same demon she once encountered in her sleep. One of them is Kristen, who has the power to draw other people into her dreams. Working with a male doctor assigned to the case, Nancy helps the kids realize their special abilities within the nightmare world. When Freddy captures one of her charges, she leads a rescue attempt into Krueger's domain, in hope of putting his spirit to rest once and for all.
Verdict:
This is a significant improvement over the second entry in the series. Unlike the second episode, this one has a storyline in which the characters act (mostly) rationally under the circumstances. They try to do something...

Advantages: Hilarious comedy, intense action, and great CG graphics Disadvantages: Badly placed music, story seems to change pace a lot
...I caught an advance screening of Kung Fu Panda in my local cinema a few weeks ago. The film kicks off quickly with an action-packed dream sequence featuring almost all the main cast. The dream sees Po, the titular Panda, voiced by Jack Black, as a kung fu warrior. Suddenly he wakes and finds himself in his regular old noodle-selling life.
The movie sees him accidentally proclaimed the Dragon Warrior, and his constant training so he can defeat Tai Lung, an evil snow leopard warrior who desperately wants to know the secrets of the Dragon Warrior.
With intense action scenes and hilarious scenes with Po, this is an amazing milestone for CG films, and a great film for any action movie fans....
