Stargate SG-1 Volume 36 DVD - Preview!
Review of Stargate SG-1 DVD Series by  DarkStar_UK

Advantages: The best episodes of season 7... so far!
Disadvantages: Only four episodes per disk!

..., met different aliens and defeated various foes. The President is convincingly played by William Devane probably best known as Gregory Sumner from US Soap ‘Knots Landing’. He has a great moment where he slips his shoes of and rubs his feet on the oval office carpet to make himself at home. A very enjoyable refresher / introduction to the show. Special features The special features, for me, are what make a DVD worth having. Volume 36 has plenty, with 3 special behind the scenes documentaries which demonstrates the elements that make up the great episodes, audio commentaries and web links. “SG-1 beyond the Gate: Amanda Tapping” looks at the actress who plays Major Samantha Carter on the show. Carter is the beautiful, intelligent member of SG-1 that fixes things when SG-1 gets in a jam as well as figuring out what they should do whilst... Read review

Where's My Lost DVD?
Review of Elizabethtown DVD by  kitty17

Advantages: A Joy To Watch Orlando getting a serious role for acting
Disadvantages: Kirsten Dunst - is she a serial liar?

...Introduction: Firstly I must explain why my review of Elizabethtown is entitled 'Where's My Lost DVD?' I am a member of a online DVD rental company, I have a rental list on the said companies website and you can appoint the rentals on your list as: High Priority or 'Give me this NOW' Medium Priority or 'I'm not sure about this one but send it me anyway' Low Priority or 'Don't send me this ever' So anything you really, really want to see you put on high priority. So far so good, the only trouble is that any series you put on your list like Series One of Lost is multiple discs and so they send them to you separately but in order. So 'Lost' is High Priority they send me the first 4 episodes and then I get this. Elizabethtown. I wanted more Lost and I got this instead. Elizabethtown. I wanted to seriously slate... Read review

Mr Bean - Live Action DVD
Review of Mr Bean - Live Action DVD by  mints4merlin

Advantages: hilarious, Atkinson is a comedy genius
Disadvantages: only 3 episodes, expensive way to get the whole set

...Having only made 13 episodes you would think it would be easy enough to release the wholebox set as a complete and more cost effective production. But no, because we are english, we are 'rich' and can afford to splash out on the indivual DVD's, and of course we can wait whilst each is brought out at two month intervals. However if you live in america you get one whole box set, straight away, and before we even get our measly volume one with only 3 episodes on it. Arrgh. Appologies for the rant, but it's a good introduction as to why I have had to review one volume at a time. I do hope you enjoy reading about it. As I'm sure the name Mr Bean will ring bells striaght away. He's the clumsy whimsical character which delighted so many with his mishaps in the 90's. I had to buy this as soon as I knew it was released. I love Mr Bean... Read review
