The book is told completely from David's point-of-view, and we don't really meet Jade until two thirds of the book is read. In summary, the story is this: we meet David right after he is banished from the Butterfield home because Jade's father ...

Advantages: Stunning performances and unforgettable
Disadvantages: In places historically incaurate
...fight for their freedom"
Glory is without a doubt one of the greatest civil war films ever made. The film follows a black regiment of soldiers (the fifty-forth) through their training and eventually to fighting in the civil war.
