Review of Ben-Hur DVD by
cyberian1969
Advantages: Great drama, superb performances, the chariot race
Disadvantages: Drags a lot in the last 15 minutes
Think of Ben Hur, and what comes to your mind first? Obviously the legendary 15 minute chariot race scene? Or on a closer level, the sea battle scene? Or the crucifixion of Christ? Well obviously Ben Hur is all these, but on a higher level its even more. Ben Hur is a classic, because its one of the rare species in Hollywood, a costume drama, with drama. A right royal fairytale
Review of Roman Holiday DVD by
sunmeilan
Advantages: Audrey Hepburn at her most attractive, charming story
Disadvantages: A bit slushy at times
...being all that enamoured of Roman Holiday (at least not publicly!), unless they are a fan of Audrey Hepburn, but I think most women will love it. It is a classic for a reason - it really has stood the test of time. So if you haven't seen it yet, look out for it, it is definitely worth a watch. Recommended. The DVD is available from play.com for £5.99.

My sister was able to complete 3 years in the Marine Corps, and she joined ...
