Advantages: The Genre, Danny Dyer's performance

The Football Factory directed by Nick Love, is firmly based on John King's brilliant novel of the same title. I would definalty advise you to read that before the film, although its not a neccesity. The film deals with young lads from a firm following Chelsea Football Club, and how they have a passion for going out on a saturday afternoon and beating seven shades of shit out of lads from other firms. ...it, I am into my football and I am also into my away days and whilst I am more certinaly not a football fan I really feel an understanding with the films motives and the characters personailites. It kept you guessing throughout and does have its comedy moments. However it does have its downsides, the fight scenes are very average and it will only interest a pretty small audience. Advantages: Well characterised and acted, good family entertainment, plus lots of interesting detail and lovely scenery.
Disadvantages: It is tempting to watch them all in one sitting.

We first watched Lovejoy on the television in early 1986. We had just moved into a rather-more-dilapidated-than-we-had-realised, 18th century farmhouse in rural west Cumbria, on the edge of the Lake District, it was bitterly cold, the Rayburn fell to pieces, all the pipes froze and watching Lovejoy (wrapped in duvets in an attempt to keep warm) was just about the only bright spot in our week. Episode One, "The Firefly Cage" sets the scene well, introduces you to Lovejoy's life and lifestyle and.to the several strong supporting characters. Dudley Sutton is excellent as Tinker Dill, the drunken "barker" and Phyllis Logan is totally believable as Lady Jane. This is an amazing film. A student is trying to apply for Harvard but needs to be amazing to get a scholarship. He is amazing at maths and is asked to join a card counting group. They go to Vegas and make millions, until things go wrong. The plot is gripping, you will always be wanting to find out what is coming next. You will never be bored. ...main characters are all amazing. The filming is great, plot is amazing and characters are brilliant actors. I see no reason why you will not like this film if you are a fan of non-violent crime/thriller movies. The only downside is that card counting is way hard than this film makes out! ... Read review

Advantages: Action pact
Disadvantages: Elijah wood is not different because he is not frodo.

Green street is an excellent film that is action pact. In the film west ham supports have there own gang, this is the same as any other football team across Europe. West ham use to be the most feared of them all until the major left. When Matt Buckner (Elijah Wood) becomes part the crew a split in the gang starts to begin. After every game the GSH (green street hooligans) Will fight the other supporters and will cause trouble. Through out the film ...
...the ultimate price is paid. This action pact film shows emotion, fear and aggression all rolled into one movie. WOW! With strong violence and language this is not a film for people that do not like blood. I totally advise you to watch it but for all those Lord of the rings fans out there this will be kind of odd (It was for me anyway) the fact that Elijah wood is not frodo Baggins.
