Worthwhile heartfelt movie but not the greatest

Advantages: Ambitious and honest-feeling attempt to do justice to the Christ

Review of The Greatest Story Ever Told (DVD)

Fly fishing and drinking in Montana

Advantages: Gentle story, well-filmed
Disadvantages: Goes on for too long

Shane Meadows - the Euro Star of directing!

Advantages: Solid short
Disadvantages: Not Meadows best

...director Shane Meadows returns with Somers Town, this a little treat from his backers who have given him some money to indulge in his passion - short films, Somers Town just 68 minutes long. Originally this commission was supposed to be a publicity film for the new Eurostar service from the refurbished St Pancreas Station and they wanted Meadows to do some sort of infomercial. Ludlow's Legend

Advantages: Excellent story and acting, amazing scenery and music
