An amazing true story
Advantages: Great acting, great portayal of a fascinating true story
Disadvantages: There aren't any
Erin Brockovich is the incredible uplifting true story about a young mother with 3 young children who manages to win a legal damages of 6 million dollars for a small town when she discovers that the water pipes have been poisoned & have been making people seriously ill & even killing them. Erin Brockovich, played by Julia Roberts is arguably her best performance to date & with the exception of Pretty Woman is my favourite film of hers. She's fantastic ...

Not only is his surname a real pain to spell, but after winning the Palme D'or in 1989 for the acclaimed Sex, Lies and Videotape he virtually disappeared from the movie scene for near enough a decade.
