Advantages: Characters, Tension.
Disadvantages: Not for everyone.

Review of 8MM (DVD)

A true event with an astonishing storyline

Advantages: Follows a fantastic story, shows what the world turned their backs on
Disadvantages: Some horrifying scenes, can make you feel as though you should do something to help

The first time I watched this I thought it was fiction I had no idea that it was a true story and couldn't believe it when someone told me that it was. It follows the story of Paul Rusesabagina who uses bribes and persuations to save over 1,200 Tutsi civilians during the Rwandan Genocide who were being slaughter by extremist Hutu militias. The Ultimate test of Loyalty - What Would You Do?

Advantages: Story, Cast/acting, not too predictable, quality stuff!
Disadvantages: Slow in the middle, slightly over melodramatic at the end, thats if your a real nitpick!
