tracyevans88
Advantages: Shows how one group of men can change the views of many
Disadvantages: I cant think of any - it really is an amazing film that everyone must see

We explore the growing relationship between two strong characters Gerry Bertier, who is a young white player, and Julius Campbell, who is a young black player. They are brought together within the team when Coach Boone (Denzel ... ...On a training camp before the football season begins the two races are made to interact with eachother and to unite as a team. Nothing much wrong with this do!
Review of Much Ado About Nothing DVD by
matt_1509
Advantages: Cinematography, stellar cast, faithfulness to original
Disadvantages: Keanu Reeves' wooden villain
...to teach the story of Much Ado About Nothing to traditionally disinterested 13 year -old SATs students. Though, it sticks ridgidly to the original text it does so in a way that makes the text come alive using a combination of excellent acting, high production values and judiciously selected moments of slapstick.
The comic moments are genuinely funny and the shoes of the relatively small parts of Dogberry and Verges are filled impressively by the ... ...am sure this joke owes much to Monty Python).
Indeed the cast list is of the highest calibre from Shakespearean veterans such as Kenneth Brannagh to Hollywood A-listers in the form of Kate Beckinsdale. Keanu Reeves is typically wooden and Claudio has the charisma of a comatose gnat but there are the only real smudges on this multi-faceted diamond!
The story of 'Much Ado' is fairly easy to follow but it gives you a chance to enjoy the word play ...

Drink-driving kills
Review of License to Kill (Wide Screen) by
sunmeilan
Advantages: Good performances, interesting story
Disadvantages: Nothing special about it
Please note: I am reviewing the 1984 film about a drink-driving case and not Licence (with a c) To Kill, the James Bond one!
Lynne Peterson is a talented teenager; having done brilliantly at school, she is about to go away to college. Then one day her life is tragically ended following a car accident caused by a drunk driver. Her parents and sister are devastated; her mother goes to bed and refuses to get up and her father copes by trying to find ... ...many stops and starts, the court case seems doomed to failure and it seems that the driver will get off scot-free. Can lawyer Martin Sawyer ensure that justice is done? James Farentino plays Mr Peterson and, on the whole, does a quality job. Losing a child is one of the most difficult things a parent can face, and Farentino is certainly convincing in his grief and frustration at the problems with the case. Penny Fuller as Mrs Peterson is also good. ...
