The movie was well above my expectation and definitely worth a wait. Tony Leung plays the same man with "In the Mood for Love" but has a different character. The movie is also vaguely related to "Days of Being Wild" in 1990, co-starred by Leslie Cheung and Maggie Cheng. Getting in the mood

Advantages: Not too long

This film was a shock when i watched it. I had not previously heard of it and hence did not expect such strong perfomances. The guy in the film is a aged burglar who whilst robbing an old lady witnesses a fire of a local popcorn factory. The woman that co stars as the old lady realises that the fire is of some importance to our hero and we find ourselves led though a maze of intirgue that has echoes of 'Revenge'. Advantages: Likeable performances and a lyrical style.
Disadvantages: It doesn't really go anywhere.
