"There will be no whitewash at the Whitehouse"

Advantages: Good acting, good pace and interesting story
Disadvantages: The ending!

...on as such here. All I will say is that there was a burglary at the Watergate hotel and it transpired that the burglary was covering up a bugging mission. The Democrat committee was being watched. Nixon denied all knowledge but it emerged he was behind the scandal. He resigned in 1974. The film stream-lines these events for clarity.
