McDermid psychologist Tony Hill in his second televised role

Advantages: Great adaptation
Disadvantages: Too harrowing for some

...mature and deep psychologist in Wire In The Blood, I think he does admirably in the role - haunting even at times. Hemione Norris is good as Carol Jordan - a perfect choice, and the remainder of the cast do very well, particularly John Michie as Jack Vance. "Sanity is a madness put to good uses..."

Advantages: clever, thought-provoking, original, great score, casting, direction and animation.
Disadvantages: Somewhat pretentious, draws flimsy conclusions.
