SWITCHING PARTNERS
Advantages: Okay movie
Disadvantages: -
...walks in… yes… it’s his one night stand. Now that his adultery is staring him straight in the face, his guilty conscience makes him see his life from a different perspective.
There’s some twists and slides, it’s quite amusing at the end of the movie when it shows that Wesley gets together with his one night stand, and his ex-wife gets together with Natassja’s ex-husband.

Wunderbar!!
Advantages: Totally new and very entertaining
Disadvantages: You can miss things when you're watching another screen
Now THIS is a film. It's got everything you could ever want: lesbians (two lots), violence and even the obligatory sex scene. The whole idea is amazing and must've been hard to pull off. 4 cameras were set up and run from 3:00 PM on a Friday afternoon. They didn't cut once and the screen was split in four (one for each camera). The actors new the story, but no precise lines so the whole thing was improvised. It's an unbelieveable feat! Leaving Las Vegas was released in 1995 (early 1996 in the UK) and it did very well at awards ceremonies. It gave Nicolas Cage what I believe is his first Oscar, for Best actor in a leading role and the basic story just somehow intrigued me enough to want to watch it. I'm not entirely sure why, I don't always go for such dark stories but when I saw it was going to be aired late night on TV, I thought I would tape it on my PVR, incase ...

The best TV show ever all in one big box
Advantages: acting
Disadvantages: rude
...consider myself a master of the gangster genre - I've seen every De Niro and Pacino movie, I've read all of Puzo's novels (even the rubbish ones), I've even (literally) bought the t-shirts. Then, someone suggests I watch The Sopranos. I google it, buy it, and sit back to becomE literally addicted to the finest show I have ever seen.
SEASON 1:
In a nutshell: the Soprano family are gangsters, involved in the waste disposal world, gambling, money ...
...daughter. Family number two are the mafia family - Paulie Walnuts being my personal fav. The whole show revolves around Tony trying to run the two families, failing, and going into therapy.
This IS NOT 'Analyse This'. It's a gritty, shocking, dark and funny show that pays homage to every gangster film out there. It's original, award winning and powerful. There's laughter, tears, and plenty of dead bodies.
