Third series, third best

Advantages: The ending is shocking, some nice twists
Disadvantages: Treads water through the middle portion

The third series of The OC, and while still very compelling, it's probably the third best series too. The series once again centres around Ryan Atwood, Seth Cohen, Summer Roberts and Marissa Cooper. While the series is still pretty good, you can't help but feel that it's "more of the same" for the best part of the series. The storyline in which Marissa is caught up in a love triangle with her friend Johnny and her boyfriend Ryan, is very reminiscent ...

Advantages: Actors' performances, not too serious.
