A weird film about reality

Advantages: Interesting story
Disadvantages: A bit confusing at times

The 2001 film, Vanilla Sky, is a bit of a weird film that may not appeal to everyone. It is a remake of a Spanish film, Open Your Eyes (Abre los Ojos). Review of Vanilla Sky (DVD)

Stop right where you are! Don't flutter an eyelid!

Advantages: A great drama film full of adventure.
Disadvantages: The PG rating is too low in my opinion.

Reasons For Purchasing: Far and away is one of the best drama films I have watched. It certainly is high on my list of best ever films and is one I bought on DVD for my collection as I enjoyed it so much. This film not only takes the cast on a great adventure from Ireland to America in the late 1890's, it also takes us as a viewer there also and what a thoroughly enjoyable trip it is in my opinion. Review of Far And Away (DVD)

A few good men, with a few good names

Advantages: cast, story, dialogue
Disadvantages: Demi Moore

...the ones that give you a chance to think about yourelf, how would I act, would I have done it etc. This one does that with style and finesse and I loved it. Brief plot is as follows...2 marines are accused of killing a fellow soldier in guantanamo bay. Tom cruise character is a hotshot JAG corp lawyer who is brouht into the case as he has a tendancy to plea bargain. Review of A Few Good Men (Collectors Edition) (DVD)

A spectacular modern melodrama.

Advantages: Outstanding cast.
Disadvantages: Focus is over lots of characters, some might get a little lost.

Well if your going to steal from someone, may as well steal from the best. Advantages: Its the good old 80's
