Could you Survive?
Advantages: Excellent Performance, Appreciate the Small things in life
Disadvantages: A little too slow, but not a major problem

Special Effects: This explains about the many special effect used in the film, although while watching you don't even notice that it uses ...
...also interviews with Tom Hanks, and the usual Special Features such as trailers and story boards.
This disk adds extra to the film and makes you appreciate it much more, which is a very good thing so it deserves 4 out of 5 also.

The First movie i watched in a DVD and its my personal favorite.I saw this movie two years back but i could remember each and every dialogue that came in this movie .Especially the small story which was said my hero's father .Franc William Abagnale is the lead character of the movie which was enacted by Leonardo Di Caprio ,a fabulous job i must say . CASINO is the Best Gangster film ever made
Advantages: Makes you glad YOU didn't live there then!
Disadvantages: nothing really
Bought this on video (but now have it on DVD) when it first came out (in the early 90's) because I have always thought Scorcese is a great director and de Niro a marvellous actor and ever since I periodically watch it.
In my opinion this is the BEST gangster film ever made and it's based on the truth. There again, Scorcese is the BEST Director of this film genre. 'GOODFELLAS' is another great film directed by him, based also on a true story - actually ...
...in the last part of this film was taking place, so it is true!
Robert de Niro & Joe Pesci are ideally paired and the film comes alive with their dialogue, particularly when they remember 'back home, years ago'.
Scorcese's use of contemporary music is outstanding particularly when the action is suspended as a 'still' and appropriate music is played - just mesmerising.
Sharon Stone is also excellent as the glamorous hooker who reluctantly.marries ...

A day in the life

Crash is about a number of intertwined stories in Los Angeles, featuring a collection of diverse characters, over a two day period. The stories focus on racial and social issues between the broad spectrum of characters, such as a black police detective with a criminal brother, a white lawyer with his bitter and pampered wife, as well as a racist white police man and his naive younger partner.
