The life of our Lord
Advantages: Fantastic acting, direction, location
Disadvantages: None at all
...serialisation of Franco Zeffirelli's epic Jesus of Nazareth.
When Dave asked me if there were any DVD's that I would like as part of my Christmas present I said that I would like the DVD of Jesus of Nazareth so that I could watch it again whenever I wanted to.
The one that Dave got for me was the Special Edition DVD in a black metal case with a picture of the face of Jesus (Robert Powell) on the front.

Advantages: Compelling, visual effects, acting and soundtrack

Great Expectations - The Book
My recollection of the book 'Great Expectations' (by Charles Dickens if there is anyone who doesn't know!) is somewhat hazy, what with GCSEs being 11 years ago and not really paying attention to the book at the time - to be honest I'm not really a fan of Dickens, at least I wasn't at 15. G.I.JANE awsome girl power, kick ass movie
Advantages: cheap in price, feel good movie
Disadvantages: drags on a little bit
G.I.JANE in my opinion is a great and gripping movie, mixed in with a whole host of emotions. You will feel anger, achievement, power and especially motovation for all you girls out there.
If I was a girl who had a bit of a rough time at work, I would want to put this movie on because it would make me feel like nothing can get in your way and give you the mental strength to deal with the problem.
I think that G.I.JANE is a real girl power movie ...

Mr Jones
Advantages: Richard Gere....
Disadvantages: Quite slow
...seemed kind of unemotional towards Mr Jones and, most of the time, his behaviour was much too extreme to really be able to relate to him.
It is unfortunate that I am disappointed and I actually wouldn't watch this film again. It was also very slow starting and I felt quite uncomfortable watching some scenes. ...

Jesus Is God
Advantages: This

This movie is really one of the better movies out there. It sort of stinks as a whole that everybody doesn't love it.
Everybody should try and obtain this DVD.
I hope everybody who buys DVDs, will please go out and spend their good money on this one.
