Review of The Aviator (DVD)

Where for art thou in thy automobile, Romeo, dude?!

Advantages: Stunning visuals, acting, modernisation
Disadvantages: Nothing really

It combined trademark intense visuals from Luhrman with an impressive musical score, and some great up and coming actors. War + Romance = Great Film!

Advantages: Great story, excellent acting and effects
Disadvantages: Just a little too long

Cold Mountain is another film which I purchased after reading a brilliant review on it and I have to say that I completely agree with the review about this film. It stars Jude Law who I always enjoy as he is very easy on the eye! Hubby was also pleased with this film choice as it was not a children’s cartoon! Relationships are Never Easy

Advantages: Good storyline, Great acting
Disadvantages: May be a bit confussing for some, lots of strong language and sex talk

I really could not make up my mind if I wanted to see this film or not but I think the deciding factor for me was Jude law and Julia Roberts. Advantages: Two amazing films in one pack!
