It damages the dramatic impetus of the film, making the otherwise reasonable two-hour running time drag interminably, so every revelation and twist feels like hard work. And in the 70's more than any other decade the words star studded and disaster was frequently used together. Made in 1976 the film stars Richard Harris, Sophia Loren, Martin Sheen, O.J. Ray Kinsella is a farmer in Iowa, married to Annie and they have a child, Karin. One day, Ray is in the fields when he hears a voice: "Build it, and he will come." ...electricity, you're left feeling breathless. Moulin Rouge is a beautiful story, with a great cast, vibrant settings, and memorable songs. Nicole Kidman really shines in this character. I admit I had to watch it a few times to understand the story completely, as there is so much going on you can get distracted! But after watching a few times over, I really appreciated what a classic love story it tells and still end up in tears at the end! Romeo ...
...play. Although the actors still speak the sames words from the written story, it is set in modern times. I watched this many times whilst doing my GCSE's and it helped me understand the text. I found it quite amazing that although Shakespeare wrote the play many centuries ago, the message is still relevant in todays times. I think both of these films are must for anyone who likes love stories, music, good acting, and most importantly, great movies! ... Read review
