The King of Fellini Films

Advantages: autobiographical, symbolic, surreal, heavy, dramatic, italian

Gone are the Neorealistic masterpieces of his younger years "I Vitelloni" "Il Bidone" and "Nights of Cabiria" were all amazing films, but to watch 8 1/2 you wouldn't believe its by the same man. "Only two kinds of creatures get fun in the desert."

Advantages: A film in which you can smell, see and feel the desert - perfection.
Disadvantages: Some think it's too long - they are wrong!!

A Sweet, Innocent Yet Corrupted Man

Excellent movie but not as a first choice

well... if you haven't seen Tarkovsky movies before I wouldn't recommend to buy this movie as a first choice Ivan Childhood is v-e-r-y Russian so you might find it too long and too boring. I did when i watched this video for the first time. If it happened to you as well you wouldn't probably consider to view Tarkovsky' movieagain. And it would be a shame because his is a great figure in Russian and European video cultures. His movies are not really ...
