You can't call a cat spider!

Advantages: A lovely story
Disadvantages: They turned it into a really bad musical

This is such a nice film, definately one to watch when you're sick, it will make you feel so much better. Black and white films are always dismissed for the computer generated special effects films that we come to expect nowadays, but should be appreciated more. The Hustler: Deceptively enthralling

Advantages: Exciting pool sequences, gripping romance and intriguing storyline
Disadvantages: Poor visuals at times and shot in black and white

Disadvantages: Knowing it's Monroe's final film, slightly slow in places

One of Bergman's Finest

Advantages: Not a trace of banality there
Disadvantages: Misogyny

The first thing to mention is a little known fact. This film is part of a trilogy: it is followed by 'Winter Lights' and 'The Silence'. So if one really wants to come to terms with what Bergman has to say about religion and God then all three should be watched. Advantages: good story and acting
