Who's the victim?
Advantages: Gripping storyline Disadvantages: Acting fairly mediocre

With names like Elizabeth Taylor, Montgomery Clift and Shelley Winters in the three main roles, it is not surprising that the film has attracted a lot of attention over the years, although I think that it is the strong storyline and cinematography, rather than the acting that stands ... ...in 1975. Advantages: Good absorbing story, moving performance from Loretta Young Disadvantages: Not classic material but still very watchable and engrossing
Starring: Loretta Young as Ellen Jones Barry Sullivan as George Jones Bruce Cowling as Lt/Dr Ranney Grahame This is a not great but quite watchable and absorbing 1951 drama about Ellen (a very lovely Loretta Young), who meets and falls in love with dashing handsome ex-World War II pilot George. He sweeps her off her feet and they marry and settle down into what should be quiet wedded bliss in Los Angeles suburbia. However, George soon develops a ... ...His personality begins to change from dashing and debonair to bitter and twisted, and having too much time on his hands, he begins to imagine that his wife and their equally dashing and handsome doctor (and George's old friend), Dr Grahame, are having an affair.
