You Beauty! [revised 02/05/08]
Review of American Beauty DVD by midpikyrozziy

Advantages: Deep, with hidden ideas and meanings, and a great ending
Disadvantages: A bit stereotypical in places

American Beauty is a modern-day classic film, showing how restraining and boring suburban life in America can be, and how one man shows us how he breaks free. You can't help but like the character though as you follow him though his emotional change and personal problems with his dying father. Jullianne-Moore is an excellent actress, and for those of you that know her work, yet again plays the slightly unhinged and depressed character, but ... Read review
