Mrs Dalloway, another adaptation of a Virginia Woolf's 1925 novel. Brought to life by the Oscar winning director Marleen Gorris. Released in 1997 this English language film in colour lasts for 93 minutes or at least the free DVD I got from the Daily Mail did. Fantasy month in heaven

Advantages: The casting is perfect and the chemistry sends shivers down the spine. Josie Lawrence, while never quite reaching her full potential, certainly shows in her first major role that she CAN do mroe than improvise!
Disadvantages: None in particular

It all begins with a half glimpsed advertisement in the Times. "For those who appreciate wisteria and sunshine".
