The Thrill of it all (1963) - Romatic and funny musical starring Doris Day and James Garner. Doris Day becomes a commercial star, much to the disliking of her husband.
Send me no Flowers (1964) - Doris plays Judy Kimbal, wife of George (Rock Hudson). George thinks he is dying and starts to make plans for his wife's future. However, Judy finds out and thinks he's having an affair!! This is a great comedy full of misunderstandings!
That Touch of Mink (1962) - This is an 'adult sophisticated comedy', starring Doris and Cary Grant (Doris Day sure did work with some amazing people!). Doris wants romance and marraige but Cary Grant has other ideas.....
Pillow Talk (1959) - After Calamity Jane, this is my favourite Doris Day film. It's another collaboration with Rock Hudson and the chemistry is strong! Doris and Rock live next door to each other in this film and have grown to hate each other even thoughj they haven't seen one another. When they meet, Rock Hudson pretends to be someone else and they fall in love (he knows who she is). Wait and see what happens when she finds out who he really is......
This boxset is a must for all fans of Doris Day, Rock Hudson, musicals......It has some of her best films though misses Calamity Jane and On Moonlight Bay.
The boxset is available on Amazon for £15.97. Entertaining films - great picture quality.
