There are some very good songs in this film, one classic song is 'Khaike Paan Banaras Waala" which is very memorable and also "Yeh Mera Dil Pyar Ka Diwana" is a very sexy dance item which all guys will appreciate. The film also has legendary dancer of Hindi films - the seductress Helen.
It is a long film as back in 70s most Hindi films were approx 3 hours long so you might find it difficult to watch it for that long.
I really enjoyed this film and have watched it at least 5 times over the years. If you like Bollywood films and want to know why Mr Bachchan is so famous it is a good film to see.
see but a decent effort of a film shot what seems like a life time ago.
You can quite definitely see where Tim Burton got his idea of 'Mars Attacks' many years later.
It's a movie blockbuster of its day and of its era.
Watch it but don't worry if you miss it.

is fairly decent and all the actors are excellent. Don't worry about it being subtitled, it's still very easy to watch and highly enjoyable.
On the dvd you get a making of which shows filming behind the scenes (its very clever to see how they did bits of the moster on location), there's also a nice poster of the movie inside the box. ...

where we only get to see the back of Nana's head as she sits at a bar chatting with the guy she is about to dump and one near the end where she stands in a room listening to one of her clients read Edgar Allan Poe from a book. On the whole though I found the film to be highly absorbing with the hypnotic presence and natural spontaneity of Anna Karina being the main attraction.
My only gripe with the DVD as usual regards the English subtitles which don't always translate everything that is being said in French. Nevertheless, Vivre Sa Vie is one film I wish I'd bought (the present Amazon price of £14.98 somewhat put me off) rather than rented as it is definitely worth watching a few times.
