Domino DVD Samuel Hadida presents A Tony Scott Film
This film is meant to be loosely based on the life of Domino Harvey. However the only similarities there are that can be mentioned is the upbringing and job of the character.
The character Domino Harvey played by Kiera Knightley (Pirates Of The Caribbean / Bend It Like Beckham) is a girl who is from a well of background. She is english with an actor dad who died when she was young. This led to her becoming rebellious, Her mother soon married the owner of hard rock cafe and Domino was placed in boarding school with her pet fish Sammy . When Sammy dies she decided never to become emotionally attatched to anything ever again. Domino faces a short time as a model but this obvious does not fit her fiery temper and decides this isnt for her.
When Domino sees an advert to become a bounty hunter in a newpaper advertisement she quickly decides this is what she wants to do. This is where she meets her future "family" Ed "Mickey Rourke" and Coco "Edgar Ramirez". Very quickly she comes up with the philosophy Heads you Live Tails You Die. Obviously a young women who shows no fear and is not scared of death.
The film follows Domino, Ed and Coco in there adventures as a bounty hunter an ultimately the differences between life and death. The film is a great adventure film with some good fight scenes, the storylines and the characters are also great. All in All it makes for a great plot and an amazing film you will not forget.
Kiera Knightley plays another amazing character even if it is not a true likelyness to the real Domino Harvey. It makes a strange difference to see Kiera playing this role but proves her amazing abilities as an actress.
A film well worth watching in my opinion.
The feature run time is Approx 123 minutes long.
The DVD includes bonus feature: -Feature Length Filmmakers Commentary -"Im a Bounty Hunter" -Domino Harvey's Life with Optional Commentary -Bounty Hunting on Acid : Tony Scott's Visual Acid -Deleted/Alternate scenes with Optional Directors Commentary -Trailers

Sorry for the H, but if this is to be a full DVD review, I would prefer to see a review of the extras in similar detail to the way you've reviewed the film, rather than just a list of them.
