Advantages: Great music by George Fenton, Clear informative commentary, breathtaking photography Disadvantages: Some upsetting scenes not suitable for children - parental discretion required.
This outstanding series was first broadcast on the BBC in March 2006 and I was so pleased when I found out it had been transferred to DVD. In fact the beautifully presented box set consists of 5 discs containing the following episodes:
