I have watched this DVD a dozen times now i think - its lovely a to see how Hugh enthuses about the simple life - growing your own veg, raising animals, and being self sufficient...as I also live on a small farm I get immense pleasure watching his trials and successes because I can relate to them myself. If you hanker for the country life this DVD is a wonderful introduction to what to expect - the fruits of your labours are very rewarding and the ... ...friendly as you see them in the dvd. In my area the going rate for meat swapping is 1/2 sheep = 1/4 cow :) not a bad deal LOL ..... if your a 'townie' and simply want to sit back and watch someone get dirty and cook great food you will also love this because its funny, light hearted and has some devine recipes.
