When i was younger i never really liked the doctor who series, it just didnt look "real" enough. but since the new series of doctor who (Chri Ecclestone, David Tennant & Billie Piper) It has rarely been off our tv at home, whether its on DVD, BBC Three Or UK Gold! Davis Tennant Taking over from Christopher Ecclestone plays an incredible doctor, light-hearted and a true love story between the Doctor & Rose (Billie) Great Visual Effects & Superb All Round Cast! From Production to the Finished Article, you can tell that so much effort has been put into making this spectacular TV Series, I just hope they continue to get better & better! Definately 110% recommended watching! You will be converted to a WHO MANIAC like me, my partner & all out friends!
Volume one of the second series has 2 stories.. firstly the Christmas invasion where the Doctor has just regenerated into David Tennant and is still feeling ill, it start when they land back in london and Rose's mum Jackie & Mickey Smith (Rose's Ex Boyfriend) Meet the tardis, Rose & Mickey head off shopping whilst the doctor is sleeping off the regeneration process when they are set upon by some insane santa's (pilot fish for the bigger invasion) then on christmas morning all hell breaks loose, an alien craft breaks through the earths atmosphere and take over the world by using blood control and take all the A+Blood group "prisoner" the doctor wakes up just in time to save the huiman race yet again! - A Great Story!
The Second story on this dvd is about a hospital where the "Tramploine" Lady cassandra is back, this hospital is in new earth, and is run by nun Cats, but there is something fishy going on... the Cats are harvesting their own stock of "Human Meat" for them to test drugs on so that they have a cure for everything in the world... the doctor & rose stumble accross it by accident when the Face of Bo sends him a message on his psychic paper. I dont want to say much else as if you have yet to see it, it will ruin the story.
Definatley worth buying!!
