* THE FAMILY OF BLOOD (2nd June 2007) (part 2 of 2 )
This episode is the continuation of Human Nature we still see the Doctor no longer as a time lord but as a human, albeit a clumsy and rather naïve human, called John Smith… holding a job as a school teacher in a boys boarding school evading a small group of aliens calling themselves 'the Family'…
As 'The Family' close in on the Doctors presence, using human bodies to transport themselves around earth, aided by an army of scarecrows, they are on the verge of achieving there goal… using the essence of a Time Lord to achieve Mortality…

** IN CONCLUSION **
Another great 135 minutes of entertainment and thrills as you follow the Doctor through time and space…
The first two episodes on this disc are well written and the story that it tells will leave you staring in awe. The entire 90 minutes seems like endless suspense as the doctor believes himself to be human, his only way back to his life as a Time Lord lies in the hands of his trusted companion Martha…
Tennant does his usual brilliant job as the Doctor pretending to be human, with the excellent Freema Agyeman really impressing the crowds with her ability to almost outclass the entire cast on the show… mesmerising the crowd with her smile and charm in front of the camera in every episode… improving greatly show by show.. I am in no doubt that introducing Agyeman as the Tennant companion was one of the best ideas that the Doctor Who creators ever had…she certainly has a lot more to offer in this show.
The last episode on this disc, Blink, is a little unusual and is a little confusing in parts. It is on the same lines as Love and Monsters, regarding the fact that the Doctor only makes a few brief appearances throughout… The show consisting mainly of other guest actors covering the majority of the episode, giving the Doctor and Martha little air time… It is a fantastic story though and the actors involved really do bring out the entertainment value to its limits… and with the villain in the episode being the strangest of creations it can become more silly than scary…
In all, two more memorable stories to watch over and over again, with much entertainment, thrills, suspense and a little romance…
* Would I recommend this….?
Yes I certainly would. It is brilliantly written and the acting doesn't spoil any of the story lines, giving the viewer 135 minutes of nerve tingling action from the crew of the Blue Box (although technically, the Doctor and Martha can not be classed as 'starring' in the episode titled 'Blink'…)
