I personally love this movie, but yet again, I love quite a few films so actually I can't possibly say that I loved this film as you'd probably question the meaning of my use of the word love due to the fact that I'm more than likely going to say that about almost every single film review I decide to write. So what do I actually mean by "I loved this film" Well I mean that it was really good and since I have watched it twice, means that it must be a good film right?

Anyway, if I watch a film more than once then it is quite possibly a really great film, unless I watch it more than once by accident.

Now this film stars Shia LaBeouf. I have seen him many times before. To kids he's most famous for playing Louis Stevens in the hit TV Show "Even Stevens". I really liked that show when I was younger and sometimes I notice episodes I have not watched so I watch it, or I'll watch my favourite episodes over and over again. However, for adults, he's noted in quite a few films: "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" (Max Petroni), "Dumb & Dumberer: When Harry Met Loid" (Lewis), "Holes" (Stanley "Caveman" Yelnats IV), "I, Robot" (Farber) & "Constantine" (Chas Kramer). Most recently he has starred in: "Surf's Up" (Cody Maverick), "Transformers" (Sam Witwicky), "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of The Crystal Skull" (Henry "Mutt Williams" Jones III) & "Eagle Eye" (Jerry Shaw). Shia plays the main character in this film called "Kaleb "Kale" Brecht)

It also stars:

Sarah Roemer as Ashley Carlson. I have not seen Sarah in any other films, as of yet, but she is a fairly new actress, she has starred in: "The Grudge 2" (Lacey Kimble), Wristcutters: A Love Story (Rachel) & Asylum (Madison).

Carrie-Anne Moss as Julie Brecht. She has starred in a lot of films; however she is most notable for being Trinity in "The Matrix" trilogy.

David Morse, Aaron Yoo, Matt Craven & Brandon Caruso. All of which aren't noticeable in any films and I have not seen them in any myself, and trust me I have watched quite a lot of films!

Now to the reason why this film is so great... The story line
We start off watching 2 people fishing, one called Kaleb and the other, we presume, must be his dad. They catch some fish and head home but while on the way home they have a car crash and they end upside down. They are both very much alive, but before they could get out the car gets hit again and the do lots of flips and end upside down again. Kale gets out quickly but his dad is dead and then we end up looking at Kale is class.

It looks like his in some modern language class, and there's an assignment to do. Thing is Kale hasn't done his and he's so depressed over his dad being dead, he has had enough with people telling him what to do. The teacher becomes really angry and Kale punches the teacher.

The police suspend him for being house bound, and he doesn't think it's that bad, but his mom cuts off every possible use of fun until he cleans up the house and everything. He ends up doings so, but has a little trouble with some kids who leaves something nasty on the doorstep... Anyway, he then decides to spy on his neighbours, including the new girl next door. But then he hears about people going missing on the news and he suspects one of his neighbours...

Problem is, is that his neighbour becomes friends with his mom, and now he's trying to kill Kale. Will Kale kill the murderer? Will he die? Will he be able to get the police arrest his neighbour? Will he be able to rescue his mom? Will Kale and Ashley (The new girl next door) get together? Will he be able to get his kids back? You'll going to have to watch the film to find out...

I loved this film a lot and after seeing it at a mate's house I decided to get the film so that my family could watch it. I am, to be totally honest, quite surprised by the rating on this due to the fact that it didn't seem one little bit a 15, surely a 12A if I'm honest. A 12a would be reasonable, but maybe I can see it to the certification's point of view due to the fact the 12 year olds could watch the film without their parents, and to be honest it is sort of violent and everything, so maybe I'm not too shocked now.

I wouldn't say as such that it had bad points, but I shall say that this film was very predictable, and you might think that my questions above has given you the basis of the film, but I assure you I haven't like there is a trick question due to the murderer and I've put questions that can't be resolved. Anyway... I'd still say that it was a typical thriller, and pretty predictable, however not too predictable. I would say it was slightly scary and could make children younger than me (under 15's) quite scared, and people are more than likely to jump. However this is an electrifying thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat!

The cover on the box is relatable to the story and reflects the story quite well. But in my opinion could be made a bit better.

Now I remembered when I did a few DVD reviews about 1 month ago and people were saying asking about the Bonus features... Well there's one problem with bonus features and that happens to be the fact that me and my family never go into bonus features so I personally don't have a clue what the bonus features are like... So from now on I shall just be listing them below and not comment on them considering they will be all lies and I'll leave it as a sort of mystery as you'll only find out what they are like by watching this film or asking someone else

Here's the bonus features:
-Commentary with DJ Caruso, Shia LaBeouf and Sarah Roemer
-The Making of Disturbia
-Music Video "Don't Make Me Wait" - This World Fair
-Serial Pursuit Trivia Pop-Up, Quiz
-Deleted Scenes
-Outtakes
-Photo Gallery
-Theatrical Trailer

Now personally I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one who thinks I have missed out a lot of things that I could include in this review. I would say that I'm pretty rusty on DVD reviews, so I shall read a lot more DVD reviews and your comments as I hope you will tell me what I should include in my DVD reviews. Hopefully you can do so before I write another one... Thanks

I hope I have helped you on your decision to buy this DVD and I totally recommend it. I hope to see a lot more reviews on this item, and Thanks for any comments in advance.

As I mentioned a little while ago, I'm sorry for the H, but for this to be a full DVD review, I would prefer to see a review of the extras in the same detail as your review of the film, not just a list of them. I personally feel it's better to either review the extras in full, or if you don't watch them as you've said, to skip all mention of them and just post the review as "Film Only".

Great review. Although I was a bit put off by the fact that it's a rip-off of Hitchcock's film 'Rear Window', I enjoyed this film, although, as you say, it's a tad predictable. It was funny to see 'Trinity' from 'The Matrix' as just an ordinary suburban mum, though!
