The action starts with Mickey and Minnie happily driving along in an animated sequence. They run out of petrol and stop to fill up. This is where the fun starts, as the place they stop is full of activities.The emphasis is less on education than it is on fun. For example in Goofy's Body Shop you can build a car bringing the different parts together and painting your creation. Later you can sit in Huey, Dewey and Louie's car playing around with windscreen wipers, fiddling with the glove compartment and indicators, tooting the horn at passing Disney characters and so on. There are also more traditional learning activities. Pop into the cafe, and you'll find matching games, activities that teach about relative size, naming games and more.Several children can register to use the software, and it tailors itself to their particular needs, so that the more adept won't get frustrated by repeating tasks they've completed successfully. There is plenty for parents here too including on-board information pages explaining the reasoning behind each activity, listing the skills it teaches, and providing instructions on how to work with in each activity.Disney'sPre-school Adventures with Mickeyis well worth a look. On his way he meet a lovely girl dog named Angel, that shows him the ropes and how to survive the outer parts of town. She introduces him to the junkyard dogs that are led by the leader dog called Buster. Buster challenges him and puts him to the test whether he can stay as a collar free dog or go back home. So he's torn between the life of a loving family or what he's always wanted to be.
He soon realises which he wants more!!!
It truely an adventure the treasure and watch again and again.

Asia also has a walk through exploration trail called MAHARAJAH JUNGLE TREK. Again, this is self-guided so you can go as slow or fast as you want and the many animals include antelopes, bats and gibbons.
The newest ride in Animal Kingdom is Expedition Everest, a rollercoaster ride with an encounter with the Yeti. This ride was still in the process of being built when we last went to Florida and I can't wait to go back and try it out! (Height restriction 3ft 8)

The final land in Animal Kingdom, this area doesn't have any rides but it does have one of the best shows in Disney, FESTIVAL OF THE LION KING, complete with singing, dancing, puppets, huge characters, audience participation and all the songs from the hit film. If you ...
Advantages: Collection of shorts with Mickey as the main character! Disadvantages: Not the most captivating piece of Disney genius
the disappointing helping of extras. There are only two extras on this DVD, which I found bitterly disapponting for Disney. They are;
- A Lucky Matches activity, which is a "pairs" type of game.
- Can You Recall game, which is another memory game and not a particularly good one either is has to be said.
The feature itself is made up of animated shorts featuring Mickey, Goofy, Donald and (my personal favourite) Pluto. The shorts include some of the best bits of animationMickey Mouse has ever featured in.
The shorts on this DVD include:
"Thru The Mirror" in which Mickey discovers a world of his own imagination through a mirror.
"Hawaiian Holiday" in which Donald, Goofy and Pluto accompany Mickey on a holiday, resulting in lots of fun!
