For those who do not know what Reiki is, it is a form of energy healing. For more information on Reiki there are about six reviews on the subject here on ciao. I am not going to explain what Reiki is here, as I have already done a review on the subject. The link for that review is on http://www.ciao.co.uk/ReikiReview5422055
I brought this book last year, after I did my reiki 1 course. It was recommended by my teacher.
The book gives a wealth of knowledge, well illustrated, and it is explained in a clear and simple way, it perfect for students or teachers of Reiki. It is also a great book for newcomer to Reiki, or for people who just simply want to ...
Advantages: Clearly written in an easy to follow format. Disadvantages: Basic
A few years ago I undertook an Aromatherapy course at night school. It was a ten-week intensive course, but great fun. Heather, the tutor (not the writer) advises her students to read works written by Heather Wildwood, a practising Aromatherapist and has written many books on the subject. ‘Holistic Aromatherapy’ is 170 pages long and gives a basic guide to Aromatherapy, however it is a good reference book. This basic book only talks about 25 essential oils in alphabetical order, so does not bombard the beginner with too much ...
Advantages: heals small wounds, burns quickly Disadvantages: greasy, difficult to clean your hands
I used Sudocrem for my sons as a nappy cream, but only when they had some problem. Now I use it on a daily basis.
Advantages
It is a very good healing cream that really works. I use it when I cut my finger, when we have any kind of minor burns or sunburn, other wounds. It is perfect as a nappy cream too. I used it effectively when my younger son's skin became very very dry from Johnson's baby top to toe wash. It healed in 2 weeks, but I used it 3 times a day.
Disadvantages
Actually I have only one problem with it, it is difficult to wash it from your hands. It's water resistant, so I need double amount of soap for cleaning my hands.
Price
I bought one just a few hours ago. I paid 2.59 pounds for 125g. It is worth buying a larger one if you use regularly, but it was the only one size in Sainsbury's. In Tesco I have seen smaller ...
