Advantages: Unbelieveably funny
Disadvantages: none

...My friend recently bought this DVD and I think it is one of the funniest DVD's I have eber watched. It is full of jokes when he is on stage and even when he is touring around famous landmarks all around Britain. A lot can be learned from this man as his general knowledge is astounding. He travels through England, Ireland and Wales and does a few main acts on a stage while seeing major, or minor, landmarks which are an important piece in the lands history. There are not many extra features as the main part of the DVD is taken up on two DVD's as it is so long. You don't reolise it is long however because it is so funny that you will only know what time it is when the nurse beside your bed tells you what it is as your sides will be spliting. There is not much that I can say about the main feature as it will ruin... Read review

THE MOST FERTILE MAN IN IRELAND
Review of The Most Fertile Man In Ireland DVD by MelanieBolch

Advantages: REALLY GOOD STORY AND FILM
Disadvantages: NONE

...This is a story about a 24yr old lad living in Ireland . This lad is not a very popular lad and is always laughed at and mocked at because he's not keen on the girls) that is one of only a handful of fertile men left living in Ireland. Due to Catholic rules and regulations contraception is not allowed and neither is IVF. So he solves the problem by getting all the women pregnant, but the only problem is he falls in love, and nearly loses his girlfriend through it, but there is a happy ending - watch to find out! A very good film and worth watching even for the men that won't admit to liking a 'girlie film'. GIRLIE FILM YOU MUST WATCH!... Read review

Flight of The Doves
Review of Flight Of The Doves DVD by 2jayd

Advantages: Good Acting and Interesting Characters
Disadvantages: Released in the 70's, otherwise none

...Actors Ron Moody and Jack Wild play their parts very well in this memorable film. Ron Moody is truly funny and at the same time frightening with his many disguises and different characters. Jack Wild plays the compassionate and loving older brother - he loves his younger sister enough to run away to Ireland so she can be truly loved by someone: their grandmother, acted by Dorthy McGuire. They have wonderful adventures on their journey to Ireland and the scenery of Ireland is breathtaking. A nice family film that will put a smile on your face and delight the children, whatever their ages. It deserves to be in the same league as those other classic British films made for family viewing at that period in British cinema history: "Oliver!", "The Railway Children", "The Amazing Mr Blunden", "Black Beauty". I thoroughly recommend this film... Read review
