Bruce Willis and Alan Rickman star in this Action Movie, the first of a pretty successful trilogy to date. Willis plays John Mclane, a New York Cop, visiting his estranged wife and kids in LA for Christmas. He unwittingly gets caught up in an audacious plan to rob a Japanese Bank of millions of dollars in bearer bonds.
Rickman plays the cool, sadistic leader of the gang who let nothing and no one stop them in their heist. The film is filled with hi-action, explosions, fights and a good helping of black comedy. Willis shows that he is more than a match for the 12 assorted Bad Guys. This film is a good one to watch on a Friday/Saturday Night with a beer (or coke) and a pizza and although it is part of a trilogy can be watched on its own and still enjoyed.
