single title fail miserably. Fortunately for gamers, Fox Interactive has successfully merged three distinct game styles into Die Hard Trilogy. This expansive action game faithfully follows the plots of the theatrical films--sans Bruce Willis. The game starts off with a whimper rather than a bang, since the first game (Die Hard) is the worst of the bunch. In this action shooter sequence, you re-create John McClane's barefoot hostage rescue mission from the first film. While this game segment is fun in short doses, the run-and-gun gameplay ultimately gets repetitive. The second sequence Die Harder is much stronger. In fact, it is one of the best light-gun games available for the PlayStation. As with other light-gun action games, you must shoot objects as they quickly move across the screen. In this part of the game, you must shoot your way through the Dulles airport. You can play this portion of the game with the basic PlayStation controller, but we highly recommend that you invest in a light gun for maximum fun.Die Hard with a Vengeance concludes this game on a high note. This sequence consists of an incredibly fun (and bloody) driving game that takes place in a realistic city environment with traffic, pedestrians and New York landmarks. As a whole, this collection represents one of the best values available for the PlayStation, provided you can stomach the over-the-top violence and copious bloodshed. --T Byrl Baker

The first thing that really comes to mind is the pure simplicity of the plot. Now most films require a complex script for the movie to work as it usually has to be the films best feature for the overall production to be a success. This is for many reasons including: acting, picture, sound and special effects. In a standard film the script ...

Advantages: three amazing movies Disadvantages: not so great extras
Die Hard was one of those movies I almost grew up with. Over the past ten years it has developed somewhat of a ‘cult’ status, everyone knows who John McClane is…and more to the point everyone has that mental image of Bruce Willis in a dirty vest! Around five years ago I was bought the box set of Die Hard movies on DVD, and was rather disappointed by them. With only three discs and NO extras the series was crying out for a rerelease. Last year, to ... ...the Die Hard films! Yes, it is just as good as you would expect, jam packed full of extras, plus the three original films presented in 5.1 surround sound (trust me machine guns sound VERY loud!) The presentation of these films is excellent, each film coming in its own box. This is more useful than you would think, as a housemate is borrowing the 2nd in the trilogy, but I have the others upstairs with me. Overall, the price of £31.99 at HMV is well ...

Die Hard 2, Die Harder: The second installment was released in 1990 and grossed more than $239 million worldwide. The film once again follows John McClane, one year after the incident at the Nakatomi Plaza. McClane now a LA cop is at the airport on Christmas Eve waiting for his wife after they reconciled their differences. Once in the airport McClane notices a group of men wearing army clothes, looking very suspicious. Deciding ...
