...Die hard staring Bruce Willis as the main cop, was THE film of my child hood. Because of it’s pointless rating that it was given (18). I didn’t get to see this film until a few years after it was released. So in that respect I missed out on the big craze about it but still when I finally got to see it, I realised for my self that it was (or is) a great film but is getting very out dated. The sequal to this film (Die hard 2) is also extremely good and has some great action and stunts in it!... Read review

Advantages: All in one, great action films
Disadvantages: cheapy case

...With this boxset not only do you get one great action film you get three (+a bit of jeremy irons in with a vengeance), for a bit of the price of buying all three separately. These films are absolutely thrilling, you'll be routing for john mcclane all the way through each film. My personal favourite is die hard with a vengeance, but die hard 1 and 2 are both great as well. Probably the three greatest bruce willis films out there, and bundled together in a boxset for you. Die Hard 8/10 Die Hard 2 7/10 Die Hard with a vengeance 9/10 Recommended for those that enjoy fast paced action films, bruce willis, thrillers. Overall i score the boxset 8/10, well worth adding to any collection of movies.... Read review

Advantages: Bruce Willis reprising his role as McClane, and another happy ending
Disadvantages: Superfluous characters.

...Die Hard 2 sees John McClane waiting in an airport for his wife's plane to land. It's Christmas again, and once again McClane is drawn into a terrorist plot, and has to save the day. The plot is a bit thin at times in this, the second of the three Die Hard films, and it seems that a few of the characters in the film only serve as padding - it would have been just as good if some of the more minor characters had been removed. Saying that, the special effects are as always, fantastic, and Bruce Willis's performance as cynical McClane is excellent. I would recommend that you watch this film, although it doesn't quite meet the standard of Die Hard, but is still well worth watching.... Read review
