INTRODUCTION:
*******************

Having seen Dhoom, I was eagerly awaiting the oppurtunity to see Dhoom 2 as it was the Highest grosser of the Bollywood Film industry in 2006. It also stormed the US in early 2007 grossing about $979,000, in the opening weekend alone after opening in about 63 theatres. This is a great feat for a Hindi movie.

The main atrraction for me to see the movie was its star cast. Former Miss World Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan were in the lead. Then there was Abhishek Bachchan, Super Sexy Bipasha Basu and Uday Chopra for good measure.

Storyline:
*********
The film begins with the Queen and her Crown travelling through the desert of Namibia. The Queen is celebrating her grandsons birthday aboard the train.Amidst the celebraations down swoops the master thief who masquerades as the Queen to steal the Crown.
Excellent picturisation and the locale is awesome. Hrithik does a good job of sand skiing in this scene.
Then the plot moves to Mumbai where we meet the new ACP Shonali who is portrayed by Bipasha basu, and she is sooooooooo sexy and hot hot. She happens to be an old classmate of Jai Dixit , another ACP.
The whole team are on the lookout for an Ace thief who leaves his signature 'A 'across the globe. Jai figures out that the next heist would be in Mumbai. The thief is highly sophisticated and Tech savvy and always operates alone. There are several scenes in the first half of the movie that could give James Bond a run for his money. But then this is often watered down by typical Bollywood bike rides and helicopter chasings..
Anyway the Thief or A steals a very valuable diamond from under their very noses by a stroke of disguise( his latest being that of a marble statue in the gallery ) and he operates some sophisticated gadgetry that looks like a remote controlled car to carry out the actual task.

This is followed by the police planting a spy, Sunehri(Aishwarya Rai) as a devoted fan of A. Sunehri convinces A that she possesses the qualities to become a thief like him and that he should make her his partner. Eventually he concedes, not least because she is very beautiful.
The films locales moves to Rio, Brazil as A has plans there. Sunehri maintains contact with Jai who follows them there. On the eve of the next heist A who has now revealed himself as Aryan, realises that Sunehri is a spy. He confronts her the next day and asks her to shoot him. He is obviously very much in love with her. She by then realises that she too is in love with him and they pledge their trust and get on with the next heist. They are closely followed and confronted by Jai and his associate Ali.
The rest of the story is best kept under wraps out of consideration to those who would like to view the film.

Dances and Songs:
***********************

This film has about six songs with very good dance numbers. The songs are composed by Pritam. We have Bipasha basu and Aishwarya Rai giving their moneys worth of dancing masala. But when Hrithik is on stage I doubt if anybody will even notice Aishwarya, simply because Hrithik Roshan is sooooooooooo handsome. Blue eyes and a beautiful face( I know I should say handsome but he is really beautiful), and a well chiselled body. Guys and gals alike are known to be rivetted by him. Guys out of jealousy and gals out of admiration(mostly). There can be exceptions to the rule.

Cinematography:
********************
Excellent. Done with class and finesse.
Beautiful locales, caught on camera carefully.

Things I loved about the movie:
************************************
Hrithik roshan and his numerous disguises. That guy sure has talent.
He won the Best Actor Award from Filmfare as well as Bollywood Movie Awards 2007.

Conclusion:
*************
I would recommend this to any movie lover, even if you have never seen a Bollywood movie before. Even if it is just to see Hrithik.!!!!!!

Price:
*******
Its available through Amazon and Ebay. Prices range from anything upwards from £13.97 in Amazon and from £1.99 in Ebay.
I watched it on a DVD which was rented and the quality was excellent.
