Advantages: unique gift item Disadvantages: none i can think of
I recently purchased this stylish porcelain deskset for my brother who loves quirky presents. The present arrived on time, beautifully wrapped and the companys web site kept me upto date on every stage of the buying experience. A+
The site i bought it off called www.stylishlife.co.uk is also a pleasure to use, its clean design and easy to use navigation is a breath of fresh air. It specializes in contemporary gifts with a difference.
The set is quite stunning, the three porcelain pods are very tactile and have a wonderful metallic black gloss coating on the inside. The pods come with a lovely glass base which can only be described as smoked black.
I have never seen anything quite like the set, its definately a unique gift, a one off. If your after stylish gifts i would certainly recommend Stylish Life. ...
Advantages: loads of bonus features Disadvantages: none
This is the king of all box sets, its amazing. It has all of the matrix films plus loads of special features. Its not really for anyone who hasnt seen any matrix films yet but if your a fan its totally worth buying. Its great value for money as aswell as getting all the films you get 35 hours of special features. Overall its one of the best box sets I have ever come across and would recomend it to anyone. Its for anyone 15 years and older and inside there are 10 discs including films and special features. In my opinion this is quite cheap as I got it for much more so I would advise anyone to get it here. I would give it 10/10. ...
Advantages: Well acted, Great Book Adaptation Storylines, Fun for All Ages Disadvantages: Each Movie is About Three Hours Long
be ignored by the overall storyline.
I was slightly disapointed by this third story since it really didn't go by the books my L.M Montgomery at all. The first two movies are at least based on her books , but this movie was almost entirely made up. I was hoping the third movie would follow the other books about Anne as she is grown up with Children.
Still, the movie was well made and entertaining. It was good to see the actors again, and the costumes anad attention to detail from the World War I era are fantastic. It's not as good as the first two movies, but well worth a watch.
******Conclusion*****
All these movies in the Box Set; Anne of Green Gables, The Sequel , and The Continuing Story, are so much fun. Children around the age of 7 and up will enjoy the first one. While children more around the age of 10 and up would ...
The legendary screen duo of Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn bring their keen comic timing and elegant, palpable chemistry to Walter Lang's DESK SET. Hepburn is cast as Bunny Watson, an exceedingly feminine reference librarian in a longtime lukewarm relationship with TV executive Mike Cutler (Gig Young). Tracy plays Richard Sumner, a hardheaded computer whiz who has designed a system named Miss Emmy to replace Bunny and the rest of her staff. Bunny and Richard clash at first, but their fiery encounters soon begin to take on an unmistakably romantic glow. Lang's film features an excellent script by Henry and Phoebe Ephron, adapted from the play by William Marchant. The sharp, hilarious dialogue is delivered with flair by Tracy and Hepburn, who had played opposite each other seven times before filming began. Fine work from supporting actors Young and Joan Blondell, as well as some unintentionally amusing 1950s conceptions of a computerised world, round out DESK SET's overflowing collection of buoyant charms.
