Desire DVD

Advantages: Can use dvd cover for something else. Dvd makes good coaster
Disadvantages: You waste 90 minutes of your life. Watch some paint dry instead.

...of the thing by losing the accent quite frequently. Other points of annoyance are the half-hearted blade twirls of swords the actors obviously have know idea how to use. This also shows in the combat scenes which have been edited to death in order to try and make the fights relaistic - fails miserably. For some bizarre reason the more senior of the warriors also keeps drawing his sword and plunging it into the earth and leaving it there - perhaps the ground offended him. Needless to say a few people die and there is a happy ending. Typical low-grade fantasy movie which is so bad you should all watch it as an object lesson in how not to make a movie! If there were any special features I couldn't muster up the desire to check. The dvd cover is now in service for another film whilst the actual dvd itself has been doing stirling service as a bird... ...Regarding the film I can only say it broke new ground in the cinema. I don't know anyone who left the cinema not feeling both impressed and a little shaken. In my opinion any film that can you ask as many questions about your own life in the way the matrix did deserves the highest regard. My problems with this product are in no way related to the film and I cannot stress this point enough. My problem is that i cannot see the benefit of paying around £6+ pounds for the features that the DVD has over the Video. The features are not extensive enough to warrant the extra cost and more importantly the packaging leaves a lot to be desired. In my opinion if you are trying to build up a DVD collection and have forsaken Video then GO! GO NOW! and buy it and you may be able to get it a bit cheaper on an internet sale site. Advantages: extremely funny and carries on the witty storyline and follows on as the series continues
Disadvantages: not the funniest of episodes on this dvd

...with him for a night and Joey realises he has an intense desire for Rachel. An extremely funny sequel dvd to the preludes of this series and you see how Phoebe's pregnancy develops. Definate buy! ...Im going to cut to the chase, this is a hilarios action packed movie that you could never get bored of. The charachters are funny but beleivable, The storyline is flawless and the overall concept is unbeatable. Its about a cop who likes to do things his won way which in most cases isnt nessicaritly the most desirable way in the eyes of the rest of the poilice force, this leads to him being suspended and going on vacation in beverly hills. I wont say any more else i'll spoil the story for you but in the end as in all films he gets the bad guy. The only downside to this film is that the language has much to be desired, due to overly flambouyant use of the 'f' word and other words of similar category. Still, you could always buy the dvd one and use subtitles with sound muted.... Read review

...I received this for Christmas and was REALLY looking forward to watching it as I'd never seen Bill Baileys stand up before. I was GUTTED. The word 'boring' is all that came to mind, I'd expected distracted yet witty with the odd bout of surrealism thrown in for good measure, this is almost what ambled off the screen. The Bewilderness dvd is a little better than the cosmic jam, but it is a later effort so you'd hope that would be the case. The extra's also leave a lot to be desired, the 'interview' is a fumbling bit of obvious padding as is the 'game'. If you like Bill Bailey from programmes such as 'Never mind the buzzcocks' and hope to see more of that kind of thing then steer clear of this dvd, you'll be disappointed.... Read review

...this is not a short film but htere is not a single moment of boredom in it. the action scenes are clearly amazing and gasps galore come form the audience as yet another head is severed and russell crowe bludgeons yet another roman, but the court intrigue is equally fascinating (although the acting og Commodus sometimes leaves somehting to be desired). the film will be heralded for its special effects and indee these are marvellous. gladiator is the first film to really capture the magnificence and sheer size of rome. and it has dne it brilliantly. someitmes the cheesy plot can become a bit crude (see ending) but on the whole it is a great film which should be seen at least twice....
